2 Handmade Winter Cards with Modern Fox Stamp Set

Hello there everyone! Lydia here and I'll be sharing two cards using the gorgeous new stamp set – Modern Fox.

For both of my cards, I stamped the fox and tree images in the same way.  For the fox, I stamped first using Orange Cream Ink. I then added shadows with Autumn Blaze and Firebrick Inks. Then I used Industrial Diamond and Pure Graphite Inks for the feet. To finish off, I used Obsidian Pigment Ink for his face.

The trees were stamped using a mix of Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine Inks. Once I had stamped all of the images, I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

For the first card, I simply added a little ink blending using Ocean Waves Ink to my card base, added the die-cut images and a sentiment from the set.

For my second card, I added a little more detail. I ripped a piece of scrap paper and used this as a mask and ink blended Galactic Stream Ink to the top. I left my DIY mask into place and stamped over the inked sky using the snowflake from Small Moments Stamp Set using white pigment ink. Then I removed the mask. I colored around the top part of the die-cut tree using Desert Night Artist Marker so the white edge wouldn't show when I adhered it into place. I did the same for the fox die-cut, this time using Evergreen Artist Marker.
