A Fun and Creative Way of Using Small Stamps
Hello Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. I am happy to share a fun way of using a small set of stamps. I admit small stamps can be finicky and tedious to use. However, small size stamps are special and they do have their merits. I am using Watercolor Doodles as my example.
I started out with stamping Watercolor Doodles on Classic Crest Solar White CardStock by following the guide in the package insert. The colors I used are Volcano Lake, Sea Breeze, Vanilla Cream, Baby Pink and Lime. Basically, I am stamping my own patterned paper and only needed to stamp a small section.
Once the DIY paper is completely stamped, I took out the leaf stamp from Wallpaper Art Stamp & Die Bundle. By examining the outline leaf stamps, I strategically stamped them over the colorful stamped Watercolor Doodles floral images.

The leaf images were stamped with the Lagoon Crisp Dye Ink. This may not look like much initially. However, once you die cut the leaf image, the colors really pop! I also stamped the flower image from Wallpaper Art Stamp Set twice with MISTI in Baby Pink Crisp Dye Ink.
Next, I stamped the outline images from the Watercolor Doodles for the background. The sentiment is from Botanical Silhouettes Stamp Set. With the enamel dots and Gold Glitter Tape, this card is complete! I hope that my card inspires you to stretch your small stamps in a fun and creative way! Have a beautiful day!
