Layered stamping with Vintage Roses

Hey!

It's Aimes here today with a card featuring a classic Altenew set that originally sparked my love for layered stamping: Vintage Roses.

Roses are an iconic flower that can cater for SO many occasions. Birthdays, love, sympathy, thanks, the list goes on! For me, August tends to be a month of many birthdays and anniversaries so this set is getting plenty of use for them!

I tend to reach for the beautiful Red Cosmos Mini Cube Set when playing with this stamp set, but I fancied my hand at creating some cool blue roses this time. I simply used Arctic, Caribbean Sky, Persian Blue and Sapphire ink pads to layer up three of the different roses in the stamp set and used the co-ordinating Vintage Roses die set to cut them out. These roses were ready in minutes!

I popped the roses onto a card base created with another favorite Altenew staple supply: Woodgrain White cardstock. I can't get enough of it for adding a touch of texture to clean, crisp designs!

I hope that my card inspires you to try your own hand at creating your own beautiful, layered roses of many different colours! :D

Thanks so much for stopping by today and happy stamping!
