It’s Time for a NEW Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello there, everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today, I'll be sharing an ink blending technique with the new Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set.
This month, we are bringing you another set from our brand-new category of paper crafting products Craft-A-Flower Die Sets!
Our Craft-A-Flower die sets are released monthly and celebrate the beauty of a wide variety of flowers! Each set includes all the pieces you need to create a multi-layered floral arrangement, inspired by our popular 3D flower dies. All you need is colored cardstock and a die-cutting machine. We can’t wait to see what you create!
This month’s featured set is the lovely Craft-A-Flower: Daisy!

I had lots of fun creating this floral card using these new dies. Continue reading to see the full card making process!
I started by cutting all of the pieces from Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. That way I didn't have to worry about having matching colored cardstock for my pieces, and I could have any color I wanted using inks to ink blend. I used Parrot, Olive, and Moss Crisp Dye Inks for the leaf layers and Pumpkin Pie and Yellow Ochre Crisp Dye Inks for the flower centers. For the flower layers, I used Baby Pink Crisp Dye Ink around the edges and Amethyst Crisp Dye Ink for the center. Once all of the pieces were colored, I adhered them together using glue tape.
To finish the card, I used a strip of patterned cardstock from Essentials Black & White 6×6 Paper Pack and a sentiment from Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set.
