Creative Coloring with Erum: Stamp Focus: Everlasting Happiness

Hi, everyone! Erum here with a post full of inspiration and ways to use the Everlasting Happiness Stamp Set. All the cards that I am sharing today and quick and easy cards.

Card 1

For my first card, I stamped the smaller of the two stamps directly onto regular cardstock and used Watercolor Brush Markers in Ruby Red, Rouge, Moss and Limeade to color.

I added a bit of diluted Moss Watercolor around the image for interest. To finish, I also added fine black paint splatters and then mounted the panel onto a card base.

Card 2

My second card comes with a video, you will find the video at the end of the post.

This too was done in no time. As you can see, I heat embossed the larger of the two stamps on the top portion of the card in Pure White Embossing Powder. Next, I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set to watercolor the panel. For the flowers, I used Cotton Candy, Coral Berry, and Puffy Heart Watercolors. For the background and the leaves, I used Forest Glades Watercolor.

After I stamped the sentiment, I added fine black paint splatters so it didn't look too out of place on a light-colored piece.

Card 3

For the third card, I used Clear Embossing Ink to stamp the image slightly off the edge and then used Crystal Clear Embossing Powder to set it. Next, I used a fluorescent pink color Prismacolor pencil and a darker pink color and roughly added a bit of color to the petals. Then I added a bit of detail with a white gel pen and adhered a few crystals.

For my card base, I used the Classy Stripes Stencil to dry emboss the panel and add a bit of texture. For the sentiment, I used one from A Walk in the Woods Stamp Set.

Card 4

Similarly, as in the previous card, I used heat embossing but this time I used Caribbean Sky Embossing Powder on dark purple cardstock. It definitely changed the look. I followed the same technique of adding color with a Prismacolor Pencil.

For the flower centers, I used clear drops and I also added a few splatters of the Iridescent Metallic Ink Spray.

Card 5

My next card also features heat embossing, this time in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. But the difference is that I used Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray to color in the images. This looks SO GOOD in person. I know it looks really bad in photo but take my word for it, or try it at home! Also, adding splatters of the same ink spray really brought the whole card together.

I would have loved to use the softer new Metallic Inks that Altenew has launched instead of the gold embossing but I don't have mine yet.

Card 6

My last card is the one I shared on the release day. It shows you that you can cut these flowers up and arrange them according to your liking. I colored the image with Artist Markers. I won't go into detail about this card, you can read the original post here.
