Follow-Along Watercoloring Tutorial Using Paint-A-Flower: Poppy | Creative Coloring with Erum

Hello friends! Erum here with a new watercolor card to share featuring the new Paint-A-Flower: Poppy Stamp Set.
I started by stamping the image a couple of times in Clear Embossing Ink off the edge and then heat set it in Pure White Embossing Powder. Next, I wet the petal with a water brush and directly applied pigment with Ruby Red Watercolor Brush Marker. I will keep the color diluted towards the tip of the petal. And I also added a bit of Citrus Burst Watercolor pigment.
For the green bits, I laid down the first layer of Limeade Watercolor pigment and then added the darker pigment from Emerald Watercolor Brush Marker. For the background, I used the Turquoise Watercolor Brush Marker.
Once I colored the background and it was dry, I added splatters of clear water and then sopped them with a tissue paper. This resulted in a beautiful texture. To add more interest to the background, I added splatters of white and black paint as well.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment and popped it up.
