Creative Coloring with Erum: Stamp Focus: Sweet Nothings

Hi, everyone! Erum here and I have three cards to share today featuring the Sweet Nothings Stamp Set.
One Layer Watercolor Card
First up is this one layer watercolor panel that I stamped with Obsidian Pigment Ink. This includes a bit of masking which was made easy as I used the Sweet Nothings Mask Stencils. Once the image was stamped, I used Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set to color the panel.
I used all the greens in the set for the leaves. And for the flowers, I used Tea Party watercolor. Once the panel was dry, I added a few black paint splatters and stamped the sentiment. To finish, I mounted it on a card base.
Heat Embossing on Patterned Paper
For my second card, I heat embossed the flower and both the leaves on one of the papers from the Alluring Blooms 6×6 Paper Pack in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images. I used the Halftone Stencil and through it, I applied Antique Gold Pigment Ink with a blending brush.
Next, I added gold splatters from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. Then, I adhered the images and popped up the sentiment.
Easy Watercolor Card
For my third and final card, I made a video to share the easy watercolor technique that I have previously shared. But because I love it so much and because we are confined in our homes, I thought it was a good time to bring this back so you can try this at home with your kids.
I heat embossed the images from the Sweet Nothings Stamp Set on watercolor paper in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Then I used several Watercolor Brush Markers, like Warm Sunshine, Autumn Blaze, Ruby Red, and Fresh Lemon and scribbled them randomly on the image. Do not worry to stay within the lines. Now, spritz it generously with water. You can move around the pigment with a paintbrush if they are any uncovered areas. Let this air dry.
Once they are dry, you will end up with very bold and vibrant images. All images will look different even if you use the same colors on them. Next, I will add black paint splatters on the card front. Then, I will add a bit of gold string. After this, I will arrange my two leaves and adhere the sentiment with foam tape. You can watch the whole process below in the process video or on YouTube.
