Step-by-Step Artsy, Loose Watercolor Video Tutorial | Creative Coloring with Erum
Hello! Erum here with a brand-new card and watercolor video tutorial to share with all of you. My card features the Paint-A-Flower: Carnations Outline Stamp Set and Autumn Festival Brush Markers.
To begin, I heat embossed the image onto A2 Watercolor Cardstock in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I added pigment from Orange Cream Brush Marker and the Mango Smoothie Brush Marker. After this, I took a very wet paintbrush and dropped in water and moved the pigment around.
I added Sea Forest pigment onto the green bits and spread it around outside onto the panel with a water brush for a loose watercolor effect. I kept adding more of the three pigments onto the background and toned it down with water. Also, to keep the image prominent, I kept going back in to add more pigment to it so that it would stand out against the painted background.
I added fine, vertical strokes on the lower edge of the panel to show grass. This was done directly with the Sea Forest Brush Marker. To show flowers, I added concentrated splatters of yellow and orange paint from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I also painted a few flowers.
To finish, I tied a gold string around the panel. I adhered my fussy-cut sentiment and popped a few Satin Gold Sequins.
You can watch the watercolor video tutorial below or on YouTube for the entire process.
Thank you for stopping by! I will catch you next Monday!
