No-Line Coloring Using Stencils – Creative Coloring with Erum VIDEO Tutorial

Hi there! Erum here with a new card to share featuring no-line coloring using stencils! I used the Wonderful Wreath Stencil and Watercolor Brush Markers for this card.
To begin, I started by laying down pigment of a light color wash of Evening Gray Watercolor Brush Marker. I kept the concentration of this color darker on the left-hand side of the edge. Once I dried the panel, I added splatters of the same color.
Next, I used Vanilla Cream Crisp Dye Ink and a blending brush and through the Wonderful Wreath Stencil, I applied the ink onto the watercolored panel. I did this so that I have a guide for my no-line watercolor base. After removing the stencil, I started to lay down the pigment directly from the watercolor brush markers, combining two colors on one leaf. For example, Ruby Red and Rouge on one leaf and Rouge plus Citrus Burst on the other, and so on and so forth. To mix these colors, I used a water brush.
Once I was done coloring the leaves, I added black paint splatters from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from Fancy Greetings Stamp Set in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I placed some gold string before adhering this label onto the card front with foam tape.
To add a bit more color to the card, I mounted the panel onto a red card base.
I finished it off by adding a lot of gold crystals around the wreath.
