Die-Cut Stepped Back Stamping

Hi there everyone and happy Thursday!
Lydia here with you and today I am sharing a clean and simple card with some fun dimension.
To create this I started with a white card layer slightly smaller than my card base so it would leave a small border around the edge when I adhered it into place. I used the die that coordinates with the bud-flower image from Peony Bouquet and die cut this a number of times from the card layer. I cut more from the top and spaced then out more as I went down the card layer as I wanted to create the effect that they were falling.
When I was happy with the amount I die-cut, I added this card layer on top of my card base without adhering it. I stamped the bud outline image from the stamp set, using Desert Night Crisp Ink, through all of the die cut holes in the card layer, then removed the card layer while I stamped the layers for the flower using Ocean Waves, Dusk and Desert Night Crisp Inks for the petals and Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades for the stem.
I added a sentiment to my card layer from Vintage Roses before adhering this into place with foam pads, once I had finished stamping all of the flower images on the card base.
