Framed Asters with Build A Flower Aster

Hello friends! Svitlana is here today. Happy Easter to those who celebrate today! I want to share a simple card using the Build-A-Flower stamp set of April – Aster. It was introduced yesterday and you have to check out all beautiful cards our designers made using this set, if haven't already.

For my card I first stamped two asters onto Solar White Cardstock and die-cut them using matching dies from the set.  I used Sapphire and Persian Blue Crisp Inks for the blue aster and Coral Berry and Cotton Candy for the pink one. For leaves I used Evergreen, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf Crisp Inks.

A sentiment from the same set was stamped onto the pink flower.

I cut and scored a card base out of Parchment Cardstock and adhered a scalloped frame die cut out of Solar White Cardstock onto it.  I made the card base a bit smaller then A2 size (it's rather A1, but not exactly), as wanted my flowers to cover it almost completely.

Next the asters were mounted above.  Several marshmallow sequins finished off my card.

These asters are so gorgeous, that they make the whole card. Hope you like it.
