Learn This Unique Card Making Technique to Add Color With Stacked Die-Cuts | Lydia’s Crafty Corner

Hello there, everyone! Lydia here! Today, I'll be sharing how you can add subtle color to your handmade projects using stacked die-cuts. This unique card making technique will make your cards stand out!
Card Making Process
I started by die cutting Floral In ‘N' Out Border Die from colored cardstock. I used Altenew Gradient Cardstock in Cherry Blossom, Sea Shore, and Shades Of Purple colors. Then, I cut the border die from one of each color from the packs. I then cut the same border die into place from 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panels of white cardstock. Next, I adhered the colored die-cut cardstock behind the white die-cut panel using glue tape. For the pink card, I off-set the colored die-cuts downward, so they would peek out from under the white panel. Then, for the aqua card, I off-set the die-cuts upward so you can see them through the white die-cut panel. Finally, for the purple card, I stacked them with no off-set; this is the subtlest of the three and the colors can be seen from the side.
Sentiments
I do love the subtle colors on all of the cards, but I have to say that off-setting the colored die-cuts is my favorite look! For the sentiments, I used Label Love Stamp Set. I simply stamped these using Obsidian Pigment Ink and fussy cut around them before adhering them to the cards using foam tape.
