Monochromatic Thank You Card with Coffee Break Colors
Hello everyone, this is Yana sharing a simple monochromatic Thank You card.
When I received new colors of inks from Altenew last week I immediately put them to a good use and stamped a few test images out (you might have seen the color chart I shared on Facebook a few days ago). I am a visual person and I like to have my ink colors stamped in an ink chart or some sort of chart for easy reference.
I used Altenew's all time favorite Vintage Roses stamp set to stamp a few 3 and 4-layer flowers using all 12 new ink colors and that stamping has inspired this simple project.
I used new Woodgrain Powder cardstock (it is just like a white woodgrain one but in a mocca-like color) and foam mounted my stamped and die cut flowers on top creating a floral cluster. I used just the Coffee Break colors here.
My sentiment comes from a Fresh Freesia stamp set and is heat embossed in Antique Gold embossing powder to match the rest of the project.
To add a bit of sparkle to this card I also adhered a layer of gold glitter tape under the sentiment strip. One can never have too much glitter, especially if its gold and mess-free, lol!
As sad as it might be, this is my last post for Altenew blog as a cardmaking design team member; I will still be joining Altenew for new product release hops and will be posting lots on my personal blog, yanasmakula.com as a contributing designer, be sure to sign up for my blog newsletter if you'd like to keep in touch.
Big hugs! And happy cardmaking!
