September 2019 Inspiration Challenge

Svitlana here. This month, it's my turn to bring you the Inspiration Challenge. And since it's September – of course, I wanted to make a fall inspiration. I took this picture last year at the Rockefeller Center Channel Gardens. At this location, they usually do seasonal setup and this fall one made my heart skip a beat when I saw it. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Now that it's so close, my level of excitement is so high that it even hurts (in a good way, of course.) I'm sure you know the feeling).
Let's get started!
The card that I made for this inspiration shows the fall I love – bright, multi-colored, and messy (in a good way, of course). For my card, I used the With Gratitude Stamp and Die Bundle, which is perfect for a fall card.
First, I white embossed several leaves onto a watercolor paper using the outline stamps from the With Gratitude Stamp Set. Then I colored them using Autumn Blaze and Purple Wine Watercolor Brush Markers. I die cut the leaves using the matching dies and added black splatters onto them using the Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker.
I made a card base out of a Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock and blended Cosmic Berry Crisp Dye Ink onto the top half of it followed by blending the Rocky Shore Crisp Dye Ink onto the bottom half. After that, I added a lot of splatters of the Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker, some shimmery water, and just clean clear water onto the card.
Next, I adhered all leaves in the middle part of the card.
After that, I stamped a sentiment onto a white strip using the Obsidian Pigment Ink and popped it onto the card. Then I white embossed another sentiment onto a Jet Black Cardstock, cut it out, and popped it onto the card as well.
I finished off the card by adding several black crystals.
