Today is the day that many of you have been waiting for… we just released refills for our popular Watercolor Brush Markers! If your markers are running out of color (or if you love doing liquid watercolor techniques), these refills are for you!

Liquid watercolor is all the rage in the crafting world because it lends itself well to beautiful techniques. Our Liquid Watercolor Brush Marker Refills are highly saturated with vibrant colors. They blend beautifully and can be used at full strength or diluted with water for a softer look.

Here is a project I created using the refills in two ways:

Supplies: Peaceful Reverie Stamp Set, Peaceful Reverie Die Set, Playful Plumeria Stamp Set, Permanent Black Ink, Watercolor Brush Markers – Winter Wonderland Set, Winter Wonderland Liquid Watercolor – Brush Marker Refill Bundle

For the flowers, I used the color straight from the marker. This produced very vibrant results. Since the lovely images in this stamp set have stippled details, all of the shading is already done for me. This allowed me to loosely watercolor the images without paying close attention to detail. I love how they look!

For the background, I didn't use the watercolor brush markers at all – only the liquid watercolor brush marker refills. This is proof that you don't need to own the watercolor brush markers to take advantage of this new product! I applied a bit of color straight from the container onto a palette, then used a brush to pick it up and create the background. I used water to help blend everything together. Then, I picked a bit more of the refill onto my brush and used it to splatter the background once the first layer was dry.
