Some tips for making simple card looks interesting

Hello! Anna here and I want to share my simple card, although this simplicity is not without dimentions. I often have situations where I need to create someting beautiful but need to do it very fast. For such cases, I have some small secrets that always help me.

Tip #1. Use a sketch that always works. I have some layouts that are my favorite and one of them is when main details of a card are placed close to corners. For today's card I put everything on the right bottom corner.

Tip #2. Use multi-layered stamps. They are always winners! The look amazing and everyone will be excited to see them! Here I played with the Peony Bouquet stamp set – flowers from this set are pretty big, so I used only one of them with some additions of leaves.

Tip #3. Use the Label Love stamp set for sentiments. These are fast to stamp and look so good! I often use this set for sentiments. Stamp a sentiment with non-black inks (here I used Evening Gray Crisp Ink, but any colored inks will be great!), adhere it with a foam tape – and amazing and bright accent is ready.

Tip #4. Make card elements interact with each other. You can see how I put the sentiment stripe on the peony, but then moved one of the petals in a way that it's overlapping the sentiment now.

Tip #5. Add dimensions. I already mentioned about using a foam tape and it always works! Here I used the foam tape for adhering the peony and the sentiment, and all other details are adhered with a flat tape. Lift the tips of the leaves so they can look more dimensional.

Tip #6. Blend the background. Here I used sunrays stencil for the first time with the elegant flowers and I really like how they look together! At first I blended the background with light pink distress inks, then I applied the stencil with bright pink distres inks. And sprinkled some water drops over it – beautiful small dots also add dimensions!

Tip #7. Add some accents. I'm a big fan of sequins and droplets but don't always have the color I need. So I prefer to use clear sequins – along with the flowers they look like drops of dew which are very beautiful! And you don't need to think about the color coordinating!)

Crisp Inks I used: Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades for the leaves, Sea Glass, Ocean Waves and Dusk for the peonies.
