Stamp Focus: Adore You
Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I'd like to share with you a few simple one layer cards I made using the beautiful Adore You Stamp Set. This set contains 24 stamps (hand-drawn floral images and elegant sentiments) that can be used to build gorgeous floral designs. You can colour them with various colouring mediums and techniques, a few examples of which you can see below.
For my first card, I decided to go for a clean, simple and monochromatic look. I have used a masking technique and stamped the images with black ink to create a wreath.
Then I used Copic markers to colour some elements in and some I left uncoloured. To finish my card I stamped the sentiment with black ink in the centre of the wreath.
For my second card, I also used masking technique. I stamped the images in black to create a floral cluster in the centre of my card.
Next, I used a sponge dauber and the Altenew inks to add colour to the images. I blended here Puffy Heart, Warm Sunshine and Forest Glades Crisp Inks and again left some parts uncoloured for an additional softness.
For my last card I created a floral background. I stamped all the images and my sentiment with black ink. Then I used backside of my stamps to colour my background. I placed the stamps backward onto my acrylic block, applied ink and stamped the solid images over.
I love this technique as it’s a great way to stretch the versatility of any stamp set!
I hope you enjoyed these examples and you feel inspired to ink up this beautiful set! I can't wait to see what you create with it!
Before I go, I have great news to share with you all. Altenew will be releasing the Hibiscus Bouquet & Floral Ink Bundle on Friday, November 25th. This is a special bundle with a yet-to-be-released stamp set – this stamp set won't be available on its own till January, 27th, 2017.
Combining classical elegance with modern bold statement, this set will give you a beautiful assortment of hibiscus flowers in a loosely painted style. You may layer up the images to achieve a bold contrast, or use your favorite coloring medium for a soft and subtle look. No matter what your style is, we are sure you will have lots of fun using this stamp set!

I personally can't wait to have it in my hands!
