3 Different Cardmaking Styles Using the NEW Amazing Things Stamp Set

Hi, friends!

Svitlana here. Today, I will be sharing three cards made using the recently released Amazing Things Stamp Set.

This beautiful set features a large flower that you can color with your favorite media or use the additional layering images to create a unique color dripping effect. Also, you can find interesting sentiments in this set.

STAMPING ON NON WHITE CARDSTOCK

I really like the color dripping effect that you can get using layering images for the flower from the set. I wanted to create something in a dramatic size, so I went with stamping the flower onto a red cardstock using the Jet Black, Pure Graphite, and Industrial Diamond Dye Inks. Then, I cut out the flower with my scissors.

Next, I stamped the flower outlines twice onto a white card base with the Jet Black Dye Ink and added some black paint splatters.

After that, I popped up the red flower onto the card. I followed this by popping up the sentiment strip which I made by white embossing a stamp from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set onto a Jet Black strip.

To finish off the card, I added several black crystals.

STAMPED BACKGROUND

For my second card, I stamped a floral layered background using the set. It was quite easy to do as the flower in the set is pretty big. I only needed to stamp it 5 times to cover the whole panel.

To prevent stamped elements from overlapping each other, I cut out a couple of masks out of sticky notes and was applying them onto already stamped elements to protect them from being stamped over.

For stamping I was using the Jet Black, Crimson, and Velvet Dye Inks.

Next, I die-cut the sentiment using the Simply Hello Die out of a white and red cardstock and stacked the die-cuts with a slight shift gluing them with a liquid adhesive. Doing that, I created some kind of a shadow for the white sentiment which helped it to not blend with the background.

Then, I adhered a white stripe in the bottom part of the panel, popped up the sentiment and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

Lastly, I added several Satin White Sequins.

WATERCOLORING

For my third example I watercolored the outline stamp from the set. It's a big beautiful flower which is perfect for any type of coloring.

First, I white embossed two flowers onto a watercolor panel from the A2 Watercolor Paper Set.  Then, I watercolored them with the Crimson Watercolor Brush Marker from the Tropical Fiesta Set.

After that I added the Pure White Spray splatters onto the panel. Then, the panel was foam mounted onto a white card base.

Lastly, I popped up a sentiment strip and added several black crystals.

Here you have three ideas how this beautiful set can be used. I hope you like them and will give them a try.
