Stamp Focus: Baroque Motifs
Hello, Altenew friends! It's Virginia here and I am delighted to share 3 projects with you. First of all, are you loving the February Stamp/Die/Stencil release? Be sure to join the fun and inspiring blog hop! The beautiful Baroque Motifs Stamp & Die & Mask Stencil Bundle is our Stamp Focus for today. Let's dive right in!

As you can see, the Baroque Motifs Stamp Set is very ornate and detailed. What makes this stamp set a stand-out? Those deeply-etched curvy flourishes! This stamp set evokes a sense of luxury and richness. My first card is a classy and elegant take on this style.
With the largest stamp and die, I embossed it with Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. I then inked up the white space inside the motif with Almond Butter. This was made possible with the negative mask.
It was easy to add dimensions and details thanks to the coordinating die. I purposely offset the stacked dies which greatly enhanced the 3D effect. Basically, you can create your own chipboard for scrapbooking and DIY home decor projects!
The sentiment from Garden Silhouette is perfect for this celebratory card. After splattering the background with Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray, I added a piece of Vellum and topped it off with gold sequins. Doesn't it look almost “priceless”?
Next, my 2nd card is slightly more involved and much more colorful.

On an angle, I embossed the largest motif with Caribbean Sky Embossing Powder. The following photos will help you see the steps that I took to create this card.
Starting from top photos to bottom:
- Use the negative mask and color it in Coral Berry, Tide Blue, Maple Yellow, and Orange Cream
- Cover part of the card and add splatters with Antique Silver Metallic Ink Spray
- and 4. Remove the paper and add a few more splatters and let dry.
To match the colors of motif and sentiment (from Dotted Blooms), I applied the exact same colors as the motif to the embossed sentiment. Only a few Enamel Dots and sequins were added for the embellishments.
For my last card, I decided to create an inky one! I am quite addicted to the Watercolor Brush Markers at the moment!
The Baroque Motifs is ideal for all kinds of embossing! I embossed smaller motifs with Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. The color contrast of the white motifs and Midnight Violet, Lagoon and Dusk is so striking!
I added a piece of vellum (die cut from Geo Frames Die) and adhered the white-embossed sentiment on top.
The enamel dots and silver strings really added a touch of elegance to this design. I hope today's post helps you get acquainted with the elegant Baroque Motifs Stamp & Die & Mask Stencil Bundle. They really make any designs shine!
Do you have a favorite card in today's post? I would appreciate your feedback and comments! Thank you so much for stopping by!
