3 Easy Cardmaking Techniques with Line Art Stamp Set
Hello, friends! It's Laurie here with some clean and simple cards featuring the new stamp set called Line Art. This stamp set has several, beautiful solid images, along with some amazing sentiments. Of course, there is also a coordinating die set, which makes cutting out the images a breeze!
SOFT WATERCOLOR LOOK
The floral image looks amazing in all colors but I found this watercolor look to be a fun one to create. Stamping the images in Chamomile and Purple Wine Inks made for a beautiful color combo. Next, I spritzed the images with water and then stamped them onto Altenew's A2 Watercolor Paper Sheet.
After the images dried, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the card front. To add some depth, I used the largest Halftone Squares Die image to cut the center of the panel out. Using fun foam, I popped the square up on the card front and added black sequins to finish it off.
SIMPLE STAMPED BACKGROUND
The leaves and blooms in this set make for the perfect background. Using my MISTI, I stamped them all in the center of this card in Moss and Olive inks. With a paintbrush, I added some black splatters to the panel too, for a little extra detail.
I cut a small rectangle and then added a mat for the sentiment. The Obsidian Ink from Altenew is my favorite for sentiments and it really helped this sentiment to pop.
EASY MONOCHROMATIC CARD
For the last card, I made a slimline card. This card measures 3 5/8″ x 8 5/8″ and was super easy to make! Using the splatter technique that I have used on all of today's cards, I added black and orange to this card front.
Halftone Square Dies make the perfect frames when you nest them together and cut. After adhering the frames to the card front with foam tape, I added the blooms to each frame.
To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment inside the middle frame.
I hope you enjoyed today's creations featuring Altenew's Line Art Stamp Set. Thanks so much for coming by today! Have a great day!
