Video: Lydia’s Crafty Corner – Outlines vs. No Outlines

Hello everyone and a happy Friday to you! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing two cards that show the difference between images stamped with outlines vs. no outlines.
Firstly, I just have to say I love how much difference this makes! The one with no outlines looks so much brighter, even though I used the same ink colors! Yet I do still love the detail in the one with the outlines. It just gives two really different looks and can stretch the use of your stamp sets.
To start, I stamped the two images using the Prettiest Pomander Stamp Set. I stamped one with an outline which I used Permanent Black Ink for. For the other layers, I used Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss Inks for the lilies, Dew Drops and Aqualicious Inks for the smaller flowers, Autumn Blaze Ink for the flower centers and Olive Ink for the leaves. Once these were stamped, I die cut the images using the coordinating die set.
For the vases, I used the Versatile Vases Stamp Set. I stamped one of them using Permanent Black Ink (for the image with the outlines) and one in Dew Drops Ink (for the image without the outline). I added a little water to the vases using Sea Glass and Colorless Blender Artist Markers and some stems using Olive Artist Marker. I then die cut these images using the coordinating dies.
To add a little interest to the backgrounds, I added a little patterned paper from Our Family 12×12 Paper Pack. The die-cut images were then added into place using foam tape before stamping the sentiment into place.
