YOU INSPIRE ME

Hello crafty friends, TGIF! It’s Yoonsun here to share my nature themed card with the Beautiful Day & Peony Bouquet stamp sets.

To create this card, I used the Beautiful Day stamp set for the leaves and the Peony Bouquet set for the red fruits – I think the combination of the two sets worked well! I 1) Stamped the layered leaves on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel with shades of green: (from the darker) Evergreen, Forest Glades, and Frayed Leaf dye inks. 2) Stamped the fruits from the Peony Bouquet set on the stamped panel with Ruby Red & Dark Chocolate dye inks. 3) Watercoloured around the stamped areas loosely with several Distress inks using a wet paint brush: Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn. 4) Mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape. 5) Added the sentiment banner on the bottom side of the card using dimensional foam tape – I used the Painted Butterflies stamp set for the sentiment. 6) Applied Glossy Accents on the red fruits and then added water droplets on the leaves.
